Our Continuing Professional Development (CPD) webinar programme

Our CPD webinars take place every two months and are designed to help freelancers and in-house publishing professionals keep their skills and knowledge up to date. ​

• The programme covers key issues affecting the sector today, with sessions delivered by experienced industry experts.

• CPD webinars are free for Freelance Publishing Professionals members (both freelancers and in-house staff). Non-members are very welcome to attend for £20 per session.

• Registration usually opens at least two weeks before each event.

'Freelance life' webinars

Alongside our CPD programme, we run additional ‘Freelance life’ webinars to support freelancers in building and sustaining successful businesses. These sessions are more informal in style and explore topics such as financial planning, working as a digital nomad, cyber security, and preparing your business for unexpected challenges.

Social events

We also host occasional social events – both online and in person – offering opportunities to connect in a more relaxed setting. Previous events have included in-person coffee mornings in the UK, festive online meet-ups, pre-conference networking sessions, quizzes and informal chats.
