Sarah Fisher
Sarah is currently Director of Learning at Newgen KnowledgeWorks leading the ELT and K12 Education teams globally. With over 15 years’ experience driving operational excellence and innovation in educational and ELT publishing, she combines commercial insight with deep expertise in project delivery, budget and schedule management, and cross-functional team leadership to optimise end-to-end workflows and product outcomes. In her current role she oversees client relationships and product delivery, working with internal teams and global freelancers to deliver high-quality ELT end educational content. Sarah is known for her strong organisational skills, operational acumen and ability to lead complex initiatives with precision and clarity.
Sam Grey
Sam has worked in educational publishing for more than 17 years, with most of those in ELT. She has worked in-house for OUP and the British Council, among others. More recently, she worked freelance for various publishers, across markets and segments. She is now Portfolio Manager at Newgen.
Maddi Oakley
Maddi is a Programme Manager at Newgen and looks after the OUP Education account in the Learning department. She has been with Newgen for over 6 years and started as an intern after completing a Masters' in Digital Publishing at Oxford Brookes University. She has a degree in Religion, Philosophy and Ethics which is where her specialist knowledge lies. As a Programme Manager she manages the OUP Education account where she costs for new project proposals, creates schedules, resources projects when they are confirmed and works closely with freelancers to complete editorial tasks, while sometimes project managing if required. In her spare time, she enjoys art, fashion and going to gigs.
