Module 6 overview
In this module, we’ll explore how AI can support the development of multi-format educational publishing outputs, from themed image sets and infographics to audio, video, and other emerging media types. The focus is on using AI to augment – not replace – specialist creative roles, including designers, illustrators, photographers, and audio producers. You’ll learn how AI can be used to prototype visual concepts, generate clear creative briefs, and streamline cross-format workflows using appropriate tools and platforms.
Learning outcomes
By the end of this module, you will be able to:
Use AI to support multi-format publishing workflows while respecting specialist roles
Use AI to generate and refine clear creative briefs for designers, illustrators and media specialists
Prototype simple cross-media outputs (e.g., infographic content, video scripts, storyboards) ready for handover to specialists
Check AI-assisted media outputs for accuracy, copyright and appropriate attribution
